Seascape – Low, Low, Low Tide
Seascape in oil 16 X 20 inches $290 (unframed)
This is a bay on San Juan Island. It is called False Bay – because it is not a real bay. I live near this amazing ‘water feature’. Yes, lucky me.
The San Juan Islands have a tidal exchange of 13 feet. For those not familiar with tidal exchanges, an average exchange is about 2 feet. On a low, low, low tide, one can walk out, oh about a quarter mile or maybe even more in False Bay.
Low, Low, Low tides makes for great beach combing. People love it. Sea birds love it. They are out in numbers poking about. There is a certain fragrance that goes with a low, low, low tide. I happen to enjoy it. It is Aux De Algue.
This seascape original oil painting is available in a variety of print sizes also.
It can be printed on Velvet Rag Paper (a fine, smooth matte surface, acid and lignin-free, which creates the highest image quality, approaching card stock, with a bit of bend) or on canvas. Canvas is flat, not stretched on a frame.
Yes, I love commission work. Have a color scheme in mind? I can create that for you.
