Lime Kiln Lighthouse San Juan Island 10x8"

Sold Out

Historic Lime Kiln Lighthouse on the west side of San Juan Island. Known for its steep rocky cliffs and deep water. It was build in 1919. Electricity was brought to the lighthouse in 1960.
I painted this from a photo that I took. These rock cliffs are treacherous should you slip off. The natural color of the rock cliffs are in gray tones. I took some liberty here as I enjoy color.

I continue my paintings on all four sides/edges of the canvas. This gives the option of not framing the piece.
Prints of this oil painting are available in the print section.
