Transient Orca Whale - 8x10”
Many times I have been out on a whale watching boat and had the privilege to view orca whales in the wild. The ‘transient’ orca whales stay mostly near canada. One way, not the only way, to determine a transient orca from a resident orca is the shape of the dorsal fin. These orca whales eat mammals, not fish.
Many days in the San Juan Islands in summer, start out with fog. This painting tries to capture that foggy, fuzzy feeling.
SOLD
I continue my oil paintings on all four wrapped edges. This gives the option of not framing the piece.
