Endangered Nene Goose of Hawaii

This is a shy, soft spoken goose. I used to live in Hawaii and that is where I absolutely fell in love with Nene. Their markings are lovely. Their honk is softer than any goose I have heard. I delight whenever I am able to watch them. I took the photo for this painting on the Big Island of Hawaii.
